The Sanjivani Pratishthan's Institute of Technology, Polytechnic Kurund also known as SPIT Polytechnic, Kurund was established in the year 2009. The Sanjivani Pratishthan's Institute of Technology, Polytechnic Kurund is approved by AICTE New Delhi. The SPIT Polytechnic, Kurund is recognised by the government of Maharashtra & DTE and it is affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE), Mumbai. The SPIT Polytechnic, Kurund provides 4 three-year diploma engineering programmes in  Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
