B.Com Environmental Management at Sree Narayana Guru College of Commerce, Mumbai Offline Course

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) Environmental Management is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course offered by the University of Mumbai, Mumbai.

Environmental management is increasingly important in private, public and voluntary sector organisations. Environmental managers in these organisations are responsible for overseeing environmental performance. This may involve developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental strategies, policies and programmes that promote sustainable development. This programme provides students with the necessary up-to-date knowledge and understanding of environmental issues and policy as they impact on the public, private and voluntary sectors. It also provides students with the ability and skills to develop and implement strategies to promote sustainable business practice. This programme will equip you to critically evaluate environmental issues and contribute to the economic and policy decision making process in organisations of any size. It will give you the skills and experience required to monitor and critically evaluate business practice through the environmental auditing and other assessment methods. Students will graduate ready to effectively develop and implement best practice strategies which lead to environmentally and socially responsible products and services. Our College started this programme in 2014.
