The Sri Ganganagar Homoeopathic Medical College Hospital and Research Centre was started in the year 2003 in Sri Ganganagar city of Rajasthan state. This constituent college is affiliated to the CCH or Central Council of Homeopathy that makes students learn quality education in homeopathic medicine. The college provides different courses in homeopathy courses at the undergraduate level and postgraduate level. The institution has 57 members in the faculty, who are passionate educators and trainers in the discipline of Homeopathy.
In terms of the learning resources, Sri Ganganagar Homoeopathic Medical College Hospital and Research Centre has assembled every new piece of equipment within the compound to foster learning among students. The Tantia General Hospital with 100 bed facility and ultra modern diagnostic laboratory provides good opportunity for the practical purposes. All necessary facilities, like 3D Spiral C.T. Scan, Digital X-ray, EEG Brain Mapping are available and the students are privileged to use these equipments. The college has library with efficient collection or resources more than 50000 books in all the disciplines of core, functional, applied educational journals and National and International journals. Add to this list, there are recreational and fitness facilities available in the colleges such as cricket ground, badminton court and volley ball court. It also avails students with a Wi-Fi enabled campus, well equipped laboratories and cafeteria for the students. Colleges have girl’s hostel and boy’s hostel’s in their premises, with air cooled room and other requisites at nominal rates. This helps provide comfortable learning environment for students particularly those from other regions of the country. It also avails transport facilities to the students as well as the members of the institution owning several occasions of buses, cars and vans.
It provides 7 courses in 2 degree programme in Sri Ganganagar Homoeopathic Medical College Hospital and Research Centre. The first and the primary programme is the Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) under which the college offers one hundred seats for fulltime admission. At the postgraduate level this college offers many MD courses such as MD Repertory, MD Psychiatry, MD Practice of Medicine, MD Paediatrics, MD Organon of Medicine and Philosophy, MD Homoeopathic Materia Medica where total intake capacity is 5 seats for each in respective courses.
