Sri Ganganagar Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalya is one of the constituent college situated at Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan was founded in the year 2005. This is a boys and girls institution that offers teacher education through and independent campus of 3 acres approved by the NCTE – National Council for Teacher Education. Six courses are taught across four degrees by 22 faculty members and a total of 600 students enroll. Some of its programmes offer are B.Ed, M.Ed, BA B.Ed, B.Sc B.Ed and, D.El.Ed hits the aspiring teachers at different level.

Sri Ganganagar Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalya has the necessary facilities for the college environment, and it has all the necessary facilities. The school has a very rich library that contains over 50000 books, journals, and magazines made easily available to learners for learning purposes. It is now adorned with up-to -date laboratory facilities, which prepare the students for practical area experiences in different disciplines. For physical fitness the college provides sports complex for indoor and outdoor games, gym.  The physical facilities that are incorporated in the IT infrastructure include a Wi-Fi enabled campus; the students have access to, as well as connection to, digital resources. The college also have different hostel accommodation for male and female students, providing cool rooms plus other essentials as far as hostels are concerned, and all at very reasonable prices.

Various type of teacher education programmes are provided by the Sri Ganganagar Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalya. Currently, the institute offers five full-time programmes, as well as a single part-time programme to cater to the educational requirements of the learners as well as time preferences. The flagship programme – B.Ed has 200 intakes, M. Ed is followed by 50 intakes and other programme such as BA, B. Ed, B. Sc B. Ed and B. Ed Part time also includes 50 intake. The college also offers a D.El.Ed programme though the number of students to be admitted in this course is unknown. In sum, the institute has built a capacity to admit 600 students in all its programmes unlike many institute of this nature in the region that offer teacher training programmes.
