The College gym has been functioning with the latest equipment and facilities for fitness and recreation of students and staff. Students are encouraged to understand the importance of health and fitness and avail of the gym facilities.
The College library contains comprehensive collections of journals and books. For students pursuing their M.Com., M.A and other courses ‘OPEN ACCESS SYSTEM’ is provided. The library subscribes to more than fifty National & International Journals, Magazines along with more than fifty-one thousand books on a variety of subjects. The library has a Book Bank and Students Aid Fund for lending textbooks to the needy and deserving students for the entire semester. The College has also installed LS Ease Software which helps in easy accessibility and faster service. The college library not only houses some 73366 books but also subscribes to a good number of research journals as desired by the different college departments from time to time. The Library is fully computerized and centrally air-conditioned.
S.G.N.D. Khalsa College has excelled in the individual as well as team games like athletics, weight lifting, power lifting, boxing etc. Yoga was introduced this year in the list of sports activities at our College. Gatka, a traditional Sikh martial art form, was introduced and training being imparted since 2015. The proud tradition of excelling in sports continued this year too and our sportspersons won the number of gold and silver medals in many inter-college athletics meets, represented in the national Paralympics. Participated in India camp of Athletics of World Championships and the India Camp League. The college also holds the hugely popular Annual Sports Day, and from the last academic session has started organizing an inter-college cricket tournament.
The College has six state-of-art, well-equipped Computer labs with 160-terminals. The labs are air-conditioned, have projectors, Interactive Boards, and LCD Display Panels for the students to hone their skills. All labs with 80 computers are connected to University of Delhi server with 24 hours internet connectivity. This can be used by students to access Delhi University Library and its e-journals, as well as use the internet for their projects and also acquire in-depth knowledge in their subjects of study.
One of the most popular spaces in the campus is the College canteen. It is an important platform for informal student-to-student interaction as well as for nurturing friendship over shared snacks. As the main College canteen is under renovation the temporary canteen is currently operating. It offers a wide range of snacks and beverages at affordable prices.
