General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year six-month full-time diploma program offered by Punjab Nurses Registration Council, Chandigarh, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).


Eligibility Criteria

  • 17 years as of 31st December
  • 10+2 with 40% marks from any recognized Board. However, Science is preferable
  • Registered ANM.
  • Candidates are also eligible for State Open School recognized by the State Government & National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government.
  • Students shall be medically fit.

Admission Details

  • The selection of candidates shall be made on merit, based on marks obtained by them in 10+2.
  • The selection of the candidates for admission to the course shall be made on merit, based on the marks obtained by them in the qualifying examination
