Infrastructure is poor as lecture theatre doesn't have enough capacity to accommodate all the students and they are constructing new building for lt but don't know when will it get completed and also hostel infrastructure is really very poor when it comes to girls hostel
Academics are good they have extracurricular activities for boys like cricket they should have something for girls as well. Faculty is nice and humble always ready to solve your doubts. They have regular Formative assessments.
Well a doctor cannot stay ideal so you can take a guess on that . And if you work hard then you will surely get good placement. You can also join the teaching line after this which most of us don't think of as we are here to become doctors and treat the people and serve the society
Fees is really high as compared to facilities we are getting here as no proper water cooler functioning which is a bare minimum plus drainage is a huge problem in hostel washrooms. Even after paying a huge amount of fees we are getting zero facilities when it comes to hostel. And even being a government college they are charging us huge fees
Campus is nice full of Greenery and beauty with lots of mango and jamun tree. Looks like treasure to the eyes.
My experience is quite average
Wifi is available and all the students can access the free wifi. Liabraries contain all the new to old edition text books . Not only text books but also popular novels, tamil literature and all the other categories are available. Hotels are of great maintenance and students are so much comfortable.
my passion towards life sciences. The quality of teaching is very good rather than memorizing things our college provides great knowledge and understanding. Ofcouse our curriculum is updated just because biotech field will have recent developments every day syllabus can't be changed frequently
The quality of placements is so good in our college since interviews are not only mark based but also lots and lots of other categories are included. Maximum of 80 percentage of students gets placed And the highest package is more than 2 lakhs per month. Average salary of 40-50 thousand is offered.
My couse gets a cost of 75 thousand a year. Yaaa I'm getting my money worth because there are so many people waiting to get a seat in my college and I'm always cherishes that I'm a part of it. There are so many good facilities and faculty members and there are no much issues faced by students rathers than happening in other colleges.
The location is awesome. It has nearly everything around it. Students can engage themselves in various club activities and associations ..They can be in sports too.... Some staffs will be really helpful....
Infrastructure needs to be amped up in the institute. Much of the practical equipment is being provided to students by teachers themselves. Which is really not the best thing u wanna see in a government run college
Academic performance of the institute is and has been great from time immemorial . Academic performance has been on the vane resently because of the lack of equipment and because of the extra burden of extra seats
Placement wise the college is quite good as it has a good repute amongst the medical community. The name of the institute is quite good and hence easy placement is for sure a great possibility. Hence placement s are not an issue

Hello,
You have not mentioned for which University or Institute are you asking for otherwise I could have answered in a bit detail. So I am stating the basic structure in which the fee structure is and that is mostly in three parts that is the first is the room charge, second it would be the canteen charge and lastly if there are any other facilities then that is also charged.
Hope it helps.
Good luck.
Hello
You have tagged Government Medical College, Amritsar in your question ,
Actually it's quite difficult to predict the score required in NEET to get a seat in Government Medical College, Amritsar as cut off marks keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.
But as per previous year trends you should target at least around 540 to 550 marks in neet if you belong to general category and want to get into Government Medical College, Amritsar
For example,
In neet 2019, 523 marks was the lowest marks that was required for general category for getting a seat in Government Medical College, Amritsar under punjab State quota.
Thank you
