Sri Kalabyraveshwara Swamy Ayurvedic Medical College (SKAMCH) is a well-known Ayurveda college located in Bangalore, Karnataka. Located on a large 11-acre campus, this affiliated college was established in 1996. It has affiliation with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, and also the approval of CCIM. At present, the college offers 8 courses to 586 students enrolled, and the faculty count is 55.
Various amenities at SKAMCH assure that the students get to experience a favourable learning space for their academic and personal growth. The library at the college has over 20,000 books on various Ayurvedic topics and is fully equipped with an internet facility. The practical learning essential for Ayurveda students is offered through different departmental laboratories like Bhaishajya Gruha, Clinical Pathology, and Rachana. This college accommodates outstation students through its separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The hostels are adequately equipped with a dining hall and a large mess.
SKAMCH, an affiliated College of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, provides a diverse range of Ayurvedic courses to cater to the academic needs of students. The flagship programme of the college is Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine, and Surgery (BAMS), which is a 5.5-year, full-time course with an intake capacity of 100. The courses also have 3-year MS and MD courses in disciplines like Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma, and Shalya Tantra. These specialisation courses in MD and MS have 6 seats each. For research-orientated students, there are two doctoral programmes in Kayachikitsa and Panchakarma.

The admission process at SKAMCH is different for different courses. For BAMS, candidates are only admitted if they pass the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) conducted by NTA. In the case of postgraduate courses like MS Shalya Tantra and MD Panchakarma, the college considers both NEET PG and AIAPGCET.
