Sri Krishna Manorama Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya, Banka Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

The Sri Krishna Manorama Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya, Banka, is one of the newly affiliated teacher education colleges opened by the Bihar Government. The college currently offers two full-time education courses. The college is dedicated to providing admission for deserving candidates only to its teacher training programs at Sri Krishna Manorama Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya.  Merit is the key criterion for admissions into the college, whereby weightage is afforded to the scores obtained in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination. 

Normally, admissions are done in line with the academic calendar, but specific dates may differ. Basic eligibility criteria differ with respect to the specific program for which admission is sought. For B.Ed., a candidate should have a graduation degree or equivalent course. For D. El. Ed. a candidate should complete the 10+2 or equivalent examination.

Application Process 

The application process shall begin with the Sri Krishna Manorama Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya admission system and will generally involve the following:

1. Announcing admissions: Through its website and other means, the college announces the start of the admission process

2. Application Form Submission: The college requires candidates to fill and submit an application form, which may be done either online or on the campus.

3. Document Submission: The applicant must also submit relevant documents, such as:

• Qualifying examination mark sheets
• Birth certificate
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Other prescribed certificates by the college

4. Entrance test or preparation of merit list according to course and admission policy in force: In some cases, the candidates may need to sit for an entrance exam and/or might be ranked according to their qualifying examination scores. 

5. Counseling and seat allotment: Counselled candidates shall be called whereby available seats will be allotted based on merit.

6. Payment of fees: Selected candidates would then pay the course fees to confirm their admission: Total fees for B.Ed. is Rs 1,50,000 and for D.El.Ed. it is Rs 1,10,000.

7. Document Verification: The college will verify all documents submitted therebefore confirming admission.

Admission Process by Degree

B.Ed.: The intake of the two-year full-time B.Ed. program of Sri Krishna Manorama Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya is 100 students. Corresponding to this, admission to the B.Ed. program is carried out according to the qualifying examination or entrance test, if held. The process shall be the guidelines of the state, UT administration, or affiliated university.

D.El.Ed.: Another two-year full-time course, D.El.Ed. also has a capacity of 100 seats. Admission to this program is done on the basis of merit of the marks attained in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent). The college may also take scores through an entrance test or adopt any other selection process as prescribed by the state authorities.
