About Sri Sai College of IT and Management, Buddyapalli
Located at Buddyapalli, Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, Sri Sai College of IT and Management was established in 2007. This is a co-educational institution, affiliated to an AICTE-approved college. The campus is compact, spread over 1.5 acres, with two postgraduate programs and a total enrolment of 780 students. There are 43 faculty members in the institute, which ensures a good student-faculty ratio. Sri Sai College of IT and Management is committed to providing quality education in Information Technology and Management with zeal to meet increasing industry requirements.
Sri Sai College of IT and Management has many facilities to enrich the learning experience of the students. The library serves as a knowledge hub with more than 650 titles, 5000 volumes, and 25 national and international journals and magazines. A digital library also serves as the gateway to huge online resources for students. State-of-the-art, well-equipped, modern computer laboratories with PCs and LCD monitors, along with 24x7 internet connectivity through a 10 Mbps broadband connection, have also been provided on the campus. Wi-fi connectivity has been provided in the entire campus, ensuring that students remain connected. The college has provided two seminar halls, each accommodating 250 people, fitted with LCD projectors and audio systems for academic discussions and presentations. At the same time, the institute maintains departmental laboratories to provide hands-on experience in subjects of diversified fields. Sports facilities and a canteen are available to address the college's holistic development of students. The college provides transport facilities for the convenience of the staff and students who commute from various areas.
Sri Sai College of IT and Management has introduced, from the current academic year, two full-time postgraduate programmes at the undergraduate level: Master of Business Administration and Master of Computer Applications. The approved intake of seats for the former is 240 and for the latter, 180—adding up to a total of 420 seats for the courses. These courses are designed and would enable the students to arm themselves with skills and knowledge to face the ever-changing and ever-evolving arenas of management and information technology.
The admission procedure at Sri Sai College of IT and Management is outlined in such a way that the process of admission is fair and merit-based. The Convener of ICET fills 70% of the seats in MBA and MCA on the basis of the ranks obtained in the ICET examination conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Government. The remaining 30% of the seats are under the management quota, which the college will fill directly following the eligibility criteria stipulated by the AP State Higher Education Council, Hyderabad.
