36 MonthsMaster of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics is a full-time three-year post-graduate course offered by Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur, and approved by the Dental Council of India.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate for admission to the Master in Dental Surgery course must possess a recognized degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery awarded by a university or institute in India registered with the State Dental Council has obtained provisional or permanent registration, and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognized dental college. The applicant must be an Indian national/Person of Indian Origin.
Admission Details
The Candidates seeking admission to postgraduate in Dental Surgery courses in the State of Kerala shall qualify for the Neet MDS conducted by the National Board of Examination, New Delhi. To be eligible for admission in MDS courses candidates have to obtain a minimum of the 50 % percentile in the Neet MDS. The candidates belonging to SC, ST, SEBC, SC-PD/ST-PD/SEBC-PD categories shall obtain a minimum of 40%, General Categories shall obtain a minimum 4of 5 %, and Service Quota candidates to obtain a minimum mark of 50% in the Neet MDS.
