Sri Shankar College, Sasaram Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

Library is opened on every working days. The students can get the book issued to study in the Library.The college has a rich library. It has approximately 20,509 books.

The computer lab has 25 Personal Computers with the latest configurations having MS Office, Visual Basic, C, C++, Java, VB.Net, C#, FORTRAN, PHP, Dreamweaver, CS-3 etc and some DTP software. Besides class work, students use the computer lab for club activities. The faculty members are provided with individual laptops.

In Sri Shankar college premises there is the facility of sports council, which is regulated by physical trainer & games coach. In the college competition our college team always comes out as a winner and pro-runner. In the year 1994-95, 95-96, 98-99, inter college competition of university our college was winner. Hockey's player has got jobs in Railways and Secretariat on their sports merits. Under Veer Kunwar Singh University this college is successful in maintaining its special position in sports area of University. Sports council of our college makes our university's head full of proud in All India Inter-University wrestling competition; our college won the bronze medal in supper heavy weight. In the area of Volley - Ball our merit ours players lead as a university captain several time. The practice of Hockey, Volley-Ball, Football, Kabaddi, Atheletic are done in college premises, So that their sports eligibility can come out and they can make ou college be proud.

College has a separate hostel for Boys Students. Each hostel has a Warden from the teaching faculty of the colleges who is responsible for the discipline, maintenance of building, allotment of rooms etc. The hostel staff consists of caretakers/ block supervisors, other attendants and maintenance staff.
