Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering and Technology is an institution, which started in the year 2014 and situated at Ariyur, Puducherry. This affiliated college approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has emerged itself as one of the more important institute for technical education in this part of the world. Located 10.5 acres of land, SVCET is providing a number of engineering and management courses to its half a thousand students. There are 65 dedicated professionals as faculty members, which provide a good student teacher ratio for effective teaching learning process.
Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering and Technology has well outfitted campuses, equipped with facilities that improve learning for its student clientele. SVCET provides different accommodation facilities for boys and girls for accommodating the out station students as a home away from home. They room facilities consist of single sex rooms, doubled bunkers or maids, normally with two, three four, five and six beds in a room consecutively. Moreover, SVCET library is a digitalised library along with a world class book hall and IEEE digital library facilitates are available to the students. It has fully equipped laboratory, spacious common room turned to an auditorium to conduct seminar or any other social events and edible cafeteria with concessional rates. What has been placed adequately is IT infrastructure, transportation facilities like bus service to and from Cuddalore, Villupuram and Pondicherry etc.
SVCET has a total of six courses spread in two degree programmes in the school providing for the zeal of different academic fields. The institution offers five core disciplines, as full-time B.Tech programmes in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. However for those interested in Management studies the college also started a full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme. The college has total approved intake capacity of 360 students in all it’s course of offerings showing the college’s will to maintain quality education for a relatively large number of students.

College Infrastructure
Yes college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment which a student need facilities like wifi facilities and canteen with good food at affordable price college also had library and laboratories which are well equipped.
