24 MonthsMaster of Science (M.Sc) in Medical Surgical Nursing is a two-year full-time program that is the postgraduate level in the nursing course offered by Dr YSR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada.
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should have passed B.Sc. (Nursing) /B.Sc., Hons (Nursing)/Post Basic B.Sc., (Nursing) from an Institution that is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council to admission in M.Sc. (N) copy with minimum of 55% aggregate marks and 5% relaxation of marks for SC and ST candidates.
- Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
- Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
- Candidate shall be medically fit.
- Age Limit: Both the Service and Non-service candidates should not have completed 45 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission; for candidates belonging to SC/ST the maximum age limit shall be 48 years.
- The candidates who qualified Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) from IGNOU through distance education are also eligible, if Indian Nursing Council recognizes the study centre.
