Hi,
Yes, Boys can do nursing courses while there is some ratio issue. Girls get more opportunities as compared to boys.
Nursing is one of the noblest professions and one of the best fields if you want to serve Society. Medicine, being one of the most recession-proof industries, offers very good career prospects and job opportunities for doctors and nurses alike. New passout students who get jobs after completing BSc Nursing can get salaries ranging from INR 7,000 to INR 15000. After 2 to 3 years to experience the salary increases and range between INR 25,000 to INR 30,000. While nurses with more than 5 years of experience can expect a salary between INR 50,000 – 70,000.
Having a Bsc in nursing does not make you a doctor. You need to go to a medical college in order to practice medicine.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
