St Ann's Degree College for Women, Mallapur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a separate library for UG and PG with a vast collection of books, periodicals, journals, dictionaries, and collections for general reading. Separate reading and reference sections are provided accordingly.

• The Library provides services like Current Awareness Service (CAS), Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI), Bibliography, reference, reservation, and reprography services.
• The library maintains a computerized database and is constantly upgrading its software for effective search and information retrieval. The college has a membership with the IDC (Information Dissemination Center) for the sharing of information.

The college provides a separate, well-equipped lab for UG and PG. We have a 1:1 student-computer ratio, most of which are branded with the HCL company and which run with the latest Dual-Core Processors, which are connected to the LAN with battery backup like UPS (7.5 kV and 10 kV) and Inverters. It is fully air-conditioned and is also equipped with multimedia and internet facilities. The Lab has an IBM server, loaded with Windows 2008. Students improve their programming skills by using licensed software like C++, JAVA, and Oracle.

The college has enough parking spaces for staff and students' two- and four-wheeler vehicles.

The College provides sports facilities on campus for the mental and physical growth of students. There are facilities for various indoor and outdoor games. It has its playground. There is also a huge playground for playing cricket, Kho-Kho, Kabadi, shuttle, etc.

The College To provide pure and clean drinking water, the college has set up a "REVERSE OSMOSIS" system. It also provides a Canteen facility and a Printer and Scanner for the benefit of the students. For the security of students, 16 CCTV cameras are activated around the campus and inside the college too. Security personnel are always on duty to provide protection and help to staff and students

The College has an Electronics lab that is spacious and well-equipped with the latest signal generators, oscilloscopes, and digital trainer kits. Students design and test their analog and digital signals using circuits in their curriculum. Guidance is provided to the students by an expert faculty. The lab is kept open to enable the students to engage themselves in designing /testing the circuits in their leisure hours Apart from these hardware kits, simulator software is available on the systems to ensure mathematical results according to the experiment conducted.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a Club facility for all students.

The motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
