Surya Educational Institute, located in Mathura, was established in 2004 and it stands as a leading institute of Uttar Pradesh. This is a co-educational institute situated on the NH-2 Agra-Delhi Road, Farah, affiliated with Dr BR Ambedkar University, Agra, and approved by NCTE for the courses in B.El.Ed and D.El.Ed. Being situated in a small area of 2.74 acres, the institute offers professional courses in the field of teacher education. Surya Educational Institute offers its educational services to 119 learners and it has 18 staff members which makes sure that students achieve a personal touch. The institute offers two full-time programmes in education and aims to produce quality professionals of the future.

Surya Educational Institute has a number of resources that aim at improving the learning process in the institute. They are both full-time programmes and their completion takes students two years of their time. The sanctioned strength of the D.El.Ed programme is one hundred students which confirms the capability of the institute to produce a large number of elementary teachers.
