    General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year full-time diploma internship program offered by Punjab Nurses Registration Council, Chandigarh, and approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC).


    Eligibility Criteria

    1. Minimum education eligibility criteria for admission to GNM,
    • 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible for state open schools recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open Schools (NIOS), recognized by the central government. However, Science is preferable.
      • 10+2 with English, having 40% of marks in the vocational ANM course from a school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
      • 10+2 with English, having 40% of marks in the vocational Stream-Healthcare Science from a recognized CBSE Board/State/Centre.
      • Registered ANM with a pass mark.

    Admission Details

     The admission selection of candidates shall be done by the college selection committee, which is composed of the Principal, Vice-Principal, Senior Tutor, and Nursing Superintendent.
