Symbiosis School of Planning Architecture and Design, Nagpur (SSPAD), is the constituent college of Symbiosis International University established in the Mouza-Wathoda, Nagpur, Maharashtra. This mixed-gender school provides a number of distinct courses in architecture and design. The Council of Architecture accredits SSDAP, which means the programme is interested in offering the best education in architecture. The institute has a faculty of nine, including directors and members who ensure individual attention to each student. At present, SSPAD runs 4 courses in 3 degree programmes where we tutor in architecture, communication design, and industrial design at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. 

SSPAD has other infrastructures equipped with modern growth features that enable students to learn and flourish. The institute extends its internet connection throughout the campus so that students can have free-flowing and unbounded access to the internet. A well-stocked main library functions as a centre of excellence, which provides books, journals, and online databases. They also get a cafeteria where learners can relax, mingle, and rest for a while before they resume classes. The college also features a hall that is used for events, seminars, cultural activities, and any other general meeting. With regards to health and safety, there exists a health centre to support first aid services in the facility. The university also provides guests with accommodation facilities on campus to facilitate the visits of teacher-guests and students’ families. Other services include banking with ATM machines planted within the compound. Categorised into full-time courses, SSPAD provides many programmes to answer different facets of design and architecture. 

Among institutes academic list of programmes offered courses include B.Arch, B.Des in Communication Design, B.Des in Industrial Design, and M.Des in Communication Design. 

The admission requirements at SSPAD differ with the programme being offered to the prospective students. For the B.Arch programme, admissions are based on a combination of factors: the NATA or the JEE (paper second) holds 50 percent of the total weightage; the marks obtained in the requisite qualifying examination for 10+ 2 or equivalent examination are 30 percent, while a personal interview carries 20 percent weightage. To enter the B.Des programmes, candidates must, first of all, take the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design, commonly known as SEED. The above SEED score is valid for one year and is required for admission to these programs. SSPAD also recognises scores on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) for appropriate course offerings.
