Symbiosis was established in 1971 by Prof. Dr. S.B. Mujumdar, who was a ‘home away from home’ for International students. The Institution is based on the principles of Vedic thought of "World is one family". Symbiosis Statistical Institute Pune is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘A++’ Grade.
SSI Pune is the constituent college of Symbiosis International University Pune. Symbiosis Statistical Institute Pune is recognised as one of the premier institutions in India. SSI Pune offers courses at the UG level, including BSc, and at the PG level, including MSc, for a duration of 4 years and 2 years, respectively. SSI Pune courses are offered in the Applied Statistics and Data Science streams with the full-time study mode only.

College Infrastructure
There is very much room for improvement the classes are not that spacious and there is only a building for it. There is wifi in classrooms which is fine. The spaces are hygienic and safety protocols are followed.

The college infrastructure have barely the necessary things. Acs are there in classes but the washroom is only 1 for boys. There isn't any fixed wifi in the classes. There is library but it's really small. The hygiene is ok
