    T. John College of Nursing is one of the fastest-growing colleges in Bangalore, which was established in 2003 and the college primarily focuses on nursing education. Situated at Gottigere, Bannerghatta Road, this college has both men and women and has a layout of 25 acres. Recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), created to provide a variety of nursing courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The institution is affiliated with RGUHS. John College of Nursing offers 7 courses under two programmes of study and offers medical-surgical, paediatric, psychiatric, and obstetric and gynaecological nursing education.

Many and various infrastructures and complexes ensure all the students’ needs and their tuition in the college. The library functions in the capacity of a knowledge anchor and avails crucial related and relevant information to the learning of nursing. Nursing is also a practising profession; therefore, modern laboratories provide ample opportunities that are essential in the development of practical nursing skills. The college concentrates on the students’ health needs through sportsmanship, and other sports facilities are provided to the students to improve their health. In an auditorium, there are one or two ongoing occasions, for instance, seminars and discussions,  hence a lively academic setting.

As for information technologies, the campus has all modern technologically equipped resources for students’ use. To help students live, there is a separate hostel accommodation for both genders to enable them to stay comfortably in college. There is a school cafeteria where students and staff obtain their meals, which are prepared according to their requirements. The school is also equipped with a guest/waiting room, for instance, for the faculty member’s family on a visit. The college also provides facilities like a health centre and first aid equipment to enhance students’ well-being.

    T. John College of Nursing has a wide array of nursing programmes to fulfil the education and learning requirements of each respective year. It consists of 7 full-time courses with both undergraduate and postgraduate instructional programmes. Presently, at the undergraduate level, the college has 60 seats in B.Sc. Nursing and 50 seats in Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing. The postgraduate programmes are more specific and include M.Sc. in Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, and Paediatric Nursing with a total of five seats each. The total student enrolment across all courses is 238, and this rationale is used by the college to ensure that it achieves the ideal student-to-faculty ratio for enhanced quality education.

The admission process of T. John College of Nursing has been made in such a way that it could help identify the right set of students for the institution for its different nursing programmes. Sadly, no admission procedures for each course are offered, but it is usual in the nursing colleges to take into account performance and grades from several subjects, entrance test results, and sometimes interviews and aptitude tests. Prospective students are advised to visit the college's official website or reach out to the admission department for further details of requirements, dates for admission, and how to apply. Since T. John College of Nursing is an affiliated college, it is expected that, like any other affiliated college, it walks in step with the parent university or institution on matters pertaining to the admission calendar and admission process or criteria. Students in this category should ensure that they follow the update of notices so that they prepare well in case they wish to be offered nursing admission in this institution.
