Bachelor of Design (B.Des) in Space and Interior Designing is a full-time four-year undergraduate course offered by Noida International University, Greater Noida.

The Space and interior design course in noida at TDV surpasses traditional approach to interior design that is restricted to only decoration or aesthetic embellishments to encompass a more effective approach that relies on the transformative power of design interventions in making a difference in the built environment.

It is very important to understand and appreciate the role of interior design in shaping our home, offices, institutions and public buildings. An ideal space has the capacity to accommodate everything and still is able to provide the desired comfort. This is possible after careful consideration of basic elements and principles of space and interior designing. However, the traditional approach to space and interior design is often limited to make a space aesthetically pleasing.

The programme follows an integrated approach where students look at the domain in the larger context of India and the world. This helps to bring together the concepts and values of sustainability, environmental studies and living traditions.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 50% score in Higher Secondary Examination or Class XII equivalent. The students have toget through the TDV Design Entrance Test.

Admission Details

Candidates are chosen based on an entrance examination, a situation test, and a personal interview conducted by TDV. Students are encouraged to share their design portfolio at the time of the interview.

College Infrastructure

The design village campus is awesome for learning. We have open studios with big desks, fast Wi-Fi, and small library with desks books. Labs have tools like laser cutters, but they can jam sometimes. hostels are neat with good internet, though rooms are small, so I booked early. Food is basic, but there's a nice lawn to chill. It's a good spot to study, just a bit cramped.

The design village campus is nice and easy to use. We have open studios with comfy seats, good Wi-Fi, and a small library with art books. The labs have tools like cameras, but they can stop working sometimes. Hostels are tidy with steady internet, through rooms are small, so I booked fast. Food is basic but there's a quiet spot to sit outside. It's a good place to learn, just a bit packed.

Yes , TDV College is fully equipped with state of the infrastructure, modern facilities and industry standard equipment to ensue that students get hand on experience, practical training. Living space and the food is hygienic.
