Vidya Institute of Fashion Technology, Meerut was established in 2008 and is one of the finest fashion education hubs in Uttar Pradesh. The 2.5-acre campus of VIFT is an affiliated college, approved by AICTE. The three undergraduate courses house a total student strength of 303 students and a faculty strength of 34. VIFT, in particular, runs specialised courses in field majors like fashion design, fine arts, and mass communication, offering the unique blend of creativity with technique.
Quality education is reflected in the state-of-the-art facilities and industry-oriented curriculum. Vidya Institute of Fashion Technology offers students excellent facilities to enhance their learning. This covers a well-stocked library, illustration and rendering lab, pattern-making lab, draping lab, garment construction lab, printing, and dyeing labs—all these will allow students to have hands-on experience in various aspects of fashion designing and production. VIFT also has one of the largest specialised fashion libraries in the country, with a large number of books, periodicals, and trade publications.
The institute offers three courses catering to various creative industries. Bachelor of Fashion and Apparel Design, Bachelor of Fine Arts, and Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC). Having a total intake of only 303 students, concentrated and more personalised learning is assured.

The admission process varies for different courses and is based on the course opted for in Vidya Institute of Fashion Technology. The admissions to the programme in Bachelor of Fashion and Apparel Design are according to the norms prescribed by AICTE and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. Eligibility is based on a 10+2 qualification with an aggregate of 50% or more in any discipline from a Board of Education recognised by the State Government. The students can also seek admission by dint of their scores in UPSEE.

For BJMC this one is best college in meerut .

In meerut vidya institute provide the very well created infrastructure with all facilities which is essential and important for students, the food of the cafeteria was too good at reasonable price , WiFi is only available in labs and libraries not in classrooms.greenry around the campus make its looks more attractive.

College Infrastructure
Talking about the infrastructure of VIFT (Vidya institute of fashion and technology), it has all necessary infrastructure, furniture, facilities which helps a student to grow in a good manner. In the classrooms, all the furniture is in well managed condition. Libraries are full of books of various genre. Smart boards, studios, computer labs with working computers are available. In terms of hygiene, canteens are not much clean.

College Infrastructure
Infrastructure was very very great. It is all green campus if feels like we are on some another hilly state not in Delhi. Library is one of the big libraries in india. There is one big ground for sports.
