TMES Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college Central Library of The Mandvi Education Society is located in the heart of the institution. It is accessible to students and staff at all times. The TMES library occupies a total area of about 4000 square feet and can accommodate 100 users at a time. It has been catering to the needs of our students, undergraduates, postgraduates, research scholars, faculty members, and staff members of the various departments, centers, schools, and research facilities. The Library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources (print and electronic) in the form of CD-ROMS, DVD-ROMS, books, journals,  reports, and back volumes of Periodicals, etc. It has also developed a full-fledged Digital Library equipped with the necessary tools to provide various digital library services. The TMES library has a spacious Reading Room for students to read books and journals. The Library has developed the Open open-access system facility for students to search and borrow Books. The Book Bank facility is also available for all UG and PG students.

The college has sports facilities for all students. Sports activity plays an important role in the overall development of students with aspects of fitness, team spirit, and spontaneity while participating in various events. Sports Activities are one of the major mediums to instill a notion of sportsmanship in today’s youth. So they are fortunate enough to have these opportunities. The TIMES organizes various indoor and outdoor games such as cricket, volleyball, badminton, carom, pool, table tennis, etc., as “KAUSHALYA” every year.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. The students are endowed with the best IT facilities for pooling their theoretical and practical knowledge into a distinctive benefit. The network consists of servers running heterogeneous operating systems, which enable students to get exposure to multiple operating environments. Internet facilities are available to staff and students. The campus network is well-connected with state-of-the-art technology for effective learning through the Internet. The institute has detached a computer lab for the MBA MCA Programme that includes enough computers as well as individual computers for faculty and staff with a Wi-Fi facility.

The college has a blend of theory with an insight into the practical world, which is what the seminar committee strives for. It aims to extract knowledge from the diverse experiences of the learned and eminent personalities from the industry as well as the academic world. The committee organizes various seminars to support and facilitate classroom learning, in turn encouraging an interactive environment.

The college has good networking for the alumni association. The former students of the institute are the foundation and one of the biggest assets of the institute. The Alumni Cell continuously endeavors to strengthen the relations of the alumni of TIMES with themselves. Alumni Insights at TIMES offers different opportunities for its Alumni community to get associated with College activities/programs.
