RC Patel College of Education, Shirpur Education Society was established in 1990. The institute has an excellent record of its history in the realm of teacher education. This is a co-ed college, established in Shirpur, Maharashtra. This institution is affiliated with the National Council for Teacher Education, or NCTE. This college is accredited by the NAAC, so the quality of education remains intact. There are 8 faculty members and the total students enrolment is 197, offering two degree programmes in education. The two core programmes of the college can be undertaken in such a manner so that teacher training could be specially emphasised both at undergraduate as well as at postgraduate level.
