Zamorin’s Guruvayurappan College Calicut, established in 1877, is a traditional institution popularly referred to as ZGC KOZHIKODE. This affiliated college is located in Kozhikode, Kerala and was established more than 145 years ago. Located in a vast area of 92 acres, ZGC KOZHIKODE is a NAAC-approved institution. The college provides 22 types of courses in 7 degree programmes with total students’ intake of 2405. The faculty recruited as at the time of this audit consisted of 79 competent teachers who enhanced the schools student-teacher ratio.
ZGC KOZHIKODE boasts of having fully developed amenities that complement education. The college library, which is considered a vital source of institutional information, possesses a collection of more than 64, 000 books, 70 journals, and 102 periodicals. Open from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM on working days It houses a large reference collection and affords restricted public access to outsiders. Salaam’s sports lovers are provided with ample space that can accommodate playing of civil and international standard sort-after games such as cricket, football, hockey, handball, and the changing pavilion. The campus also has basketball, shuttle and volleyball courts, and inside there is a games room. College Infrastructure
This college is one of the largest college in the kozhikode. The buildings are very old it is era of samoothiri king. But that old look is well maintained. Actualy the beauty of this college is this buildings. It situated in the top of the hills name pokkunnu.
