Thiruthangal Nadar College at Chennai was started in the year 1997 and is affiliated with the Thiruvallar university located in Selavayal, near Kannadasan Nagar. The institution, which has a campus size of 11 acres, provides 24 quality courses in its nine degree programmes. The overall strength of the college is approximately 755 students, while the faculty of the college consists of 110 members, so the ratio of students to teachers is good. The institution is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council and offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Currently, the student population is 69% male students and 31% female students; 98% of these students are undergraduates, while 2% are postgraduate students.
