UIMT, or Unique Institute of Management and Technology, was established in the year 1996 as an affiliated college in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The campus is spread over 8 acres, wherein UIMT offers a wide spectrum of programs in Management, Technology, and Education. All the programs steered by the institute are approved by AICTE and NCTE, ensuring quality over a span of diverse disciplines. This would provide a focused learning environment with a total student intake of 651 and a faculty strength of 16 at UIMT.

A host of facilities has been slated at Unique Institute of Management and Technology for enriching the student experience. It provides separate hostels for boys and girls having twin-sharing rooms, dining facilities, common areas with indoor games, and gymnasiums. The institute has a well-stocked library that offers services in the form of textbooks, journals, and electronic media. For health and wellness, UIMT has a medical centre with a full-time medical officer and dentist, where regular checkups and health programs are conducted. Facilities for volleyball, table tennis, cricket, and other athletic activities are available under the guidance of qualified coaches.

The institution offers six full-time courses across various disciplines. These also comprise Undergraduate courses like BCA, BBA, B.Ed, and Post Graduate programmes in MBA, MCA, D.El.Ed. The sanctioned intake for all courses together is 472; out of these, BCA and BBA have the biggest intake of 120 seats each. UIMT's commitment towards technology education can be adjudged from its multi-resource, fully equipped computer centre that comprises more than 300 latest systems networked through advanced servers and loaded with the latest software.

The admission process to the above courses in UIMT is different for different courses. In the case of the MBA and MCA courses, the students can seek admission through university seats by qualifying in the examinations conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. The institutes provide direct category admission to the MBA course based on marks obtained in national-level tests such as CAT, XAT, or MAT, further followed by a group discussion and personal interview. B.Ed courses have an entrance based on the state-level Common Entrance Exam. For BCA and BBA, rules set by the UP State Government and CCS University, Meerut are followed.
