72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry is designed to better prepare doctoral level chemists to enjoy productive careers in industrial laboratories, research foundations or academic institutions.
Research areas in the department cover a wide range of subject matter, including applied chemistry, chemical synthesis, biological chemistry, environmental chemistry, chemical analysis, materials chemistry, chemical physics and theoretical chemistry. Well trained faculty assists students in their individual research projects.
Eligibility Criteria
Recognized Master's Degree in relevant stream OR an Allied field with at least 55% marks in aggregate OR 5.5 CGPA on 10 pointer scale) & having a valid score in CU-Ph.D. Entrance Test GPAT/UGC/CSIR-NET + interview.
