UP Institute of Design, Noida (UPID) was established in 2017 with an aim to provide quality education in the field of design. The college later in 2019 started offering MBA Programmes too. The institute was established by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow and is affiliated with The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
UP Institute of Design, Noida (UPID) offers programmes in Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and Master of Design (M.Des). The institute also offers programs in MBA. The institute takes students through the Under-graduate Common Examination for Design (UCEED) exam, conducted by IIT Bombay and the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam. College infrastructure is fine. In terms of facilities and equipments, UPID has latest and advance equipments, for ex: 3D- Printing Machine, a dedicated room for hand tools and cutting, drilling etc workshops, a dedicated photography lab, computer lab, a well versed library and what not. UPID has its own incubator centre which started last year and it help students start their own entriprenual journey.
College are good faculty are quite educated

College have all necessary facilities available like chair lift power backup air conditioning purifier cold water and parking WiFi and projecter to teach in college also confrence room available for 200 people and many seminars and workshops done in that confrence room there's hygienic cafeteria available the food of cafeteria like home foor
