• If there are more eligible applicants than there are seats available in a department and there are open seats in other departments, the eligible applicants may be placed in their desired departments through an interdepartmental adjustable process based solely on merit. 

• The overall number of students admitted to the first year of BPA, however, will never exceed the authorised limit.
