Vedant Mahavidyalaya Mukandpura II, an affiliated college in Jaipur, Rajasthan, was established in the year 2010. This school is a coeducational and private school located on a campus measuring 0.84 acres. As for now, the college has 309 students; 17 of them are the faculty and staff The student-teacher ratio is also moderate. About three years ago, Vedanta Mahavidyalaya started offering a total 10 courses—seven different kinds of post undergraduate, and three different kinds of undergraduate degree courses to the students. Sources with specific accreditations and rankings are lacking but the college is committed to offering quality education in arts and sciences.

The college has various learning facilities aimed at improving the experience of the college students. The institution has a very functional library in its centre, whereby the school was able to accumulate 4,500 books, references and other audio visual aids, etc. Currently, the reading room avails 6 days in both Hindi and English and 22 Journals have been made available for constant reading habits for self-employment. For a more practical aspect, the college has well-equipped biology/chemistry/physics laboratories with current scientific equipment.  An IT infrastructure with the network of 30 computers is set up to facilitate computer literacy and computer education of student of all faculties to enable them to catch up with the modern technology. Accommodation The college has also undertaken provision of facilities to do with games and sports, and there is an availability of an auditorium for use in occasions such as events and seminars, among others. This is enhanced by comfortable classroom and a mess facility, and all these make the learning environment conducive.

Vedant Mahavidyalaya, Mukandpura II offers ten full-time undergraduate programmes: BA (Hons) and B.Sc. The BA programme has an approved intake capacity of 200 students, and the B.Sc. programme takes an intake of 180 students. Both courses take a period of three years to establish a solid academic foundation for students intending to practice in the respective fields. In total, the college admits students in courses with a figure of three hundred and nine, an aspect that shows increased learners’ enrolment and programme preference by learners.

In Vedanta Mahavidyalaya, admission to the courses, particularly BA and B.Sc., is done on a merit basis. Bursary students are assessed and selected with regard to the performance made in their qualifying subjects. But as far as liberal arts college is concerned, the college really stands out for the quality of education it imparts for undergrad students in arts or sciences in the Jaipur region, and hence, for these reasons, it can be deemed a considerable college for students.
