Vidyasthali Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya is one of the women’s teacher training colleges situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan, which was established in 2002. This affiliated college, which is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), is designed for those who want to pursue a career in teaching. Situated on a 1-acre campus in Prithviraj Nagar, Maharani Farm, Durgapura, the institute offers two full-time courses: B.Ed and D.El.Ed. The total number of student enrolments at the college is 382 and the faculty component is 28 in strength; hence, the college has a healthy student-teacher ratio, which is essential to give proper care and quality education to the would-be teachers.

Vidyasthali Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya is affiliated with Rajasthan University (UNIRAJ), Jjaipur. Vidyasthali Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya has got various facilities that seek to improve the learning environment for students in this college. A well-endowed girls’ hostel accommodates outstation girl students. There remain messes which prepare healthy foods and security arrangements 24 hours a day. The institution takes a rounded approach in the development of the learners as demonstrated in the sports grounds as well as the ample playground. The college has adequate infrastructure facilities and communication technology to support the current approach to teaching. 

A multi-purpose hall that is fitted with technology equipment is used for different functions and activities.  The college also boasts of well-furnished science, biology, and chemistry as well as computer laboratories that can accommodate the students for practicals. Vidyasthali Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya offers two full-time courses: total a two-year B.Ed programme with 200 students’ seat and another two-year D.El.Ed programme with 50 students’ seat. These are programmes mainly aimed at producing teachers to teach at various levels of learning institutions. The college has been approved to admit 250 students in all courses due to the college’s philosophy of providing quality education through a limited number of student enrolments per class.
