Visakha Institute of Engineering and Technology (VIET), established in 2008, aims to provide quality education in the stream of engineering and architecture. VIET Visakhapatnam is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada and approved by AICTE. VIET Visakhapatnam offers a variety of technical and management courses at different levels, including diploma courses in engineering, B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, and MBA.
To get into diploma programmes, academic scores from class 10 are considered. Candidates who want to join the B.Tech course at VIET Visakhapatnam need to have valid scores in JEE Main or AP EAMCET. Similarly, for B.Arch, Candidates require scores of JEE Main or NATA. For PG courses, candidates should take GATE or AP PGECET for M.Tech courses at VIET Visakhapatnam, and appear for AP ICET for the MBA course. College Infrastructure
Despite the college's academic reputation, the infrastructure leaves much to be desired. The buildings are old and in need of renovation, with limited facilities for students. The classrooms are cramped, lacking proper ventilation and natural light. The library is outdated, with a limited selection of books and resources. Moreover, the campus lacks green spaces or recreational areas for students. Improvements in infrastructure would greatly enhance the learning environment and student experience.
