NSS: The idea of the National Service Scheme is to involve as many students as they can in the task of national services. The objective of NSS is to involve students in the community services and get them engaged to solve various problems of the society.
PTA: The purpose of the Parent Teachers Association is to provide a venue for the expression of views on various general-interest matters of parents, faculty, and students.
Alumni Association: The alumni association conducts regular meetings in order for the alumni to remain connected to each other and to college and through this provide benefits to the present student of the college in their career growth.
Consumer Club: This club corporate, collaborate, function and participates in various functions in relation to consumer protection. The club has a motive to teach various students about consumer protection.
E-Cell: An Entrepreneurship Development Cell is present within the campus whose objective is to prepare various reliable students who have an idea to opt for entrepreneurship, become self-employed and make themselves ready to face global challenges.
Women Development Cell: The main objective of this cell is to promote women empowerment.
ICT Academy: This academy provides training to alumni about BFSI sector. The college has been providing 150 hours of training to alumni in order to make them employable. Training provided is free of cost.
For Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses
Admissions to all courses of Vivekananda College of Arts and Sciences, Tiruchengode (VICAS) are done on merit basis as per the marks obtained by the candidates in their qualifying examination.

Auditorium and Seminar Halls: Each department in the college has their individual seminar hall and one big auditorium is present in the college with a capacity of 5000 students. These seminar halls and auditorium hosts various conferences, seminars and other cultural activities in the college.
IAS Academy: The college in association with VETRII IAS study circle has established an IAS study which provides quality coaching to the students appearing for civil service examination.
Sports Facilities: The college has adequate sports facilities for both indoor and outdoor games. Facilities for outdoor games include cricket ground, football ground, volleyball court, basketball court. Indoor games played within the college include table tennis, chess & carrom.
Fitness Centre (Gymnasium): The college has a fitness centre which provides various sorts of training like cardiovascular training, flexibility training, yoga and aerobics training & strength training.
Canteen: Canteen facilities are available in a different department of the college which caters the students with snacks, soft drinks and other refreshments.
Hospital & Medical Care: A health care clinic is attached to each hostel in the company with separate staff to meet emergencies in the college.
Other Facilities: The college various other facilities like banking, ATM, Xerox store, a printing press. A bank is located within the college with an ATM which is opened 24 hours within the college.
