Periyar University was established in the year 1997 and covers an area comprising four districts namely Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri, and Krishnagiri. Yes, you can join in other college during your second year of study. It is very easy if the both colleges come under the same University. But you can't do this in national institutes like IITs and central universities. All you need to have is good performance in your academics.
