Women's College of Pharmacy, Kolhapur, was established in the year 2014 as a premier institution dedicated to pharmaceutical education in the state of Maharashtra. The college is affiliated with DBATU Lonere. This affiliated college at Peth Vadgaon got approval from PCI, New Delhi, and hence imparts quality education in the said discipline. The college, sprawling over a 2-acre campus, runs two special pharmacy courses with a total student enrolment of 129. The faculty strength of the institute is 51.

It provides various facilities that help in the all-round development of the students. The library, which is one of the major units in the college, has 769 volumes comprising 75 titles. There are many periodicals, scientific magazines, and encyclopaedias. The other facilities include a well-maintained spacious reading room and a computerised system for the efficient management of the books. A new girls' hostel near the main campus is under construction and is presently being offered at a rented premise.

The Women's College of Pharmacy, Kolhapur, offers two courses at the undergraduate level. Bachelor of Pharmacy, which is a four-year full-time course, and Diploma in Pharmacy, a two-year full-time course. B. Pharma has an approved intake of 100 seats, and D. Pharma has 60, thus totalling 160 across both programmes. Courses are purposed to provide extensive pharmaceutical knowledge with practical skills that make one successful in this particular industry.
