Women's Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sitapur, is an all-girls engineering and technology institute which was established in 2008 in Resora, Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh. WIET is an AICTE-approved institution and thus recognised by the All India Council, following national standards for technical education. The Women's Institute of Engineering and Technology admission process takes into account the varied parameters of merit and the academic competence of applicants to facilitate the entrance of the new generation of Indian engineers from all over the world.
In the first instance, four B.Tech branches are offered. These are Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. Depending upon the admission procedure, the WIET admission process will commence inJuly-August in the respective years, which coincides with the academic year.
The Women's Institute of Engineering and Technology process of admission criteria for entry at WIET is 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The Women's Institute of Engineering and Technology has been endowed with AICTE approval and thus is bound to comply with almost all eligibility norms accorded by AICTE following one of its standards and rules for engineering admissions in practice; hence, there is an aggregate of primary percentages, that is, the qualifying examination should attain 45% (40% for reserved categories).

For all B.Tech programmes, a candidate is expected to have completed higher secondary school or an equivalent examination with the compulsory subjects being Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
The selection of candidates may further include their performance in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects alongside overall academic achievements.
