Yogananda Institute of Technology and Science was established in 2008 at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. Yogananda Institute of Technology and Science is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUA), Anantapur. The available specialisations are Computer Science and Engineering (120 seats); Electronics and Communication Engineering (120 seats); Civil Engineering (60 seats); Mechanical Engineering (60 seats); and Electrical and Electronics Engineering (30 seats). The candidates should have completed their 10+2 programmes in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
The two specialisations for M.Tech are VLSI Design (12 seats) and Electrical Power Systems (18 seats). YITS Tirupati admission process is mainly based on AP PGECET. Candidates must have a BE degree or B.Tech in the field of interest. Selection may also involve GATE scores or an in-house test conducted by the institution.
