Hope you're doing good.

First of all congratulations for getting this rank and let me get straight to the point that your marks is not that great and there is is not very strong chances of you getting Bsc seat at BHU.

For BSC mathematics the cutoff for OBC females is around 130 marks. This is the cutoff trend for last few years.

For BSC in bio of the cutoff for OBC females was around 150 plus marks.

So I don't think you have very high chances of getting a BSc seat in main Banaras Hindu University campus.

So you would have to take admission in affiliated colleges.

Please refer to our official article regarding BHU .

Banaras Hindu University is a top tier University and also the BSc mathematics course is highly famous among students and their for the cutoff is extremely high each year.

Indore last two three years the cutoff for BSC mathematics for for the female group was around 152.

for females and OBC category students the cutoff in the last few years was around 130, same as that you got.

with your category OBC and marks. I think you have very strong chances of getting your preferred course.

But please be patient and keep checking their official website.

Dear Aspirant ,

If you have rank under 300 you have a chance for BHU, G.B pant, and the top agricultural colleges.

But you can definitely get a chance for state AGRI colleges as many students who appeared for ICAR won't take the seat this time as they have managed to take admissions at other colleges.

If you are a general candidate it's really difficult,

but obviously if a category one, then you would be favoured to some extent.

Anyway all the best,

THANK YOU .

Hi. Hope you are doing good.

Let me come straight to the point and tell you that you have very low chances of getting a b SC seat in Banaras Hindu University.

BHU is a top tier University and the cutoff is very high. You have close to 0 chances in regular courses but you may probably stand a chance in paid seats.

Even with your category rank you may not stand a chance. But don't lose patience continue with their counselling procedure.

Due to heavy academic timing changes in this pandemic situation the cutoff mein trend may change from the previous years.

You can refer to our article about BHU exams and follow it for latest updates and cutoff.

Student Reviews for BHU Varanasi

College Infrastructure: 4.2/5
Academics: 4.2/5
Placements: 3.5/5
Value for Money: 3.7/5
Campus Life: 4.4/5

Hopefully, the experience I shared will be useful.

College Infrastructure

Honestly, I had a good time being a part of this college. Since I used to live in the campus Girls' Hostel, it became even more memorable. Hostel was quite inexpensive and very spacious. Usually, there were a lot of College Festivals that took place in IIT BHU and trust me it was one of the best experiences. Late-night walks, the beautiful environment and the calmness of the campus often felt like heaven. Ghats of Varanasi were cherry on the top.

Very good . Nice experience

College Infrastructure

The college has a very good infrastructure but hostel facilities are not excellent but can be considered fine 1. Classroom facilities are good and improving and digitalised 2. Very good library facilities both in central library and in institute library 3. Wifi is available but issues occur in the wifi 4. Hostel food not so hygienic but comparatively fine

felt good reviewing about BHU

College Infrastructure

The BHU campus is exquisite, its a mix of tradition and modernity, spreading across 1300 acres. The campus has Sayaji Rao Gaekwad central library, where students can find enormous numberof books and digital resources as it is equipped with cyber section as well. For those interested in sports, it has an indoor gymansium, swimming pool and large playgrounds. It has many seminar halls, auditoriums and a amphitheatre for all sorts of events. It has students health centre and hospitals to help students 24 x 7. there are cafterias and atms for the convenience and the campus also give the wifi facility.
