Dear aspirant,

Hope you are doing well. As per your query IIT Varanasi is one of the top tier and best college amongst all the IITs. The placement status of the college is excellent. The highest package offered was 1.53 CPA whereas the other offers ranged from 10 LPA to 50 LPA. Though the placements for pharmaceutical engineering were not that great as core companies didn't come for campus placements. Other branches had decent job offers whereas only 20-30% from pharmaceutical engineering branch got offers. Please click on the link below for more information and updates. Hope you find this helpful. Thank you.

Hi,

You will get an admission in the respected course since you have scored good ranks. Based on the previous year trends you have chances. To know more about previous year cut off trends for each category please refer the following article

https://www.google.com/amp/s/university.careers360.com/articles/bhu-pet/amp

All the best.

Yes you can get seat in bhu, but you can't get trending or evergreen branches there. In your rank you can get non-trending branches whose opening and closing ranks are less. All I am saying as per the previous year records of opening and closing ranks to get seat in bhu.

And I strongly suggest you to choose both trending as well as non-trending branches in your choices, who know what will happen next and you get your dream branch in bhu.

Hello ,

Honestly it depends on you and on what basis are you comparing. Both the colleges are great. There are several factors like if you want to have that IIT tag obviously go for it . IITs are a bit better in facilities as they get more funds from the government than NITs. Nit is a bit far from the main city but if you like such environment then it is a great campus. Now, most importantly the branch you are interested in and what are you offered is what matters if you get IIT then go for it .

Good luck.

Dear Devang,

Cutoffs varies every year for any college depending upon certain factors like:-

  • No. of students appeared in exam
  • Candidates' category
  • Difficulty level of exam
  • Seat intake

From past few years BHU UET cutoff for maths group in Sc category usually is around 550 or below. Moreover, you can check more on cutoff related stuffs from below link.

Good luck!

Hello student ,

As you have not mentioned your category and domicile state . That's why it would be predict you anything . But still asuming your general category recognising your previous year cutoff you have less chances to get admission in BHU . But as you know cut off changes every year due to various factors so i will suggest you to wait for the result and till then you can use our college tool predictor to know your chances of admission in various colleges according to your expected marks.

Hey,

The last year cut off rank for BHU BDS for general category was around 16000 . So it wil depend on the rank you are getting at the marks you are scoring in your NEET 2020.

You can use our NEET rank predictor link to see your ranks at marks you are getting.

Dear aspirant,

There are total of 87 seats in BHU Varanasi main campus + small campus. The call letter for this year's admissions in MCA has already been emailed to the selected aspirants on 6th October. This year BHU has handed admission call letters upto AIR 280. So, there are very less chances for AIR 600 to get admission into BHU.

I urge you to prepare for NIMCET which is to be held for MCA admissions into NITs. Also another prestigious University namely Jamia Millia Islamia University will be conducting entrance exam for admission into MCA.

All the best.

Hope this helped.

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict the marks required in BHU UET examination to get a seat for BA political science group as it keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc

But yes as per previous year trends , with 75 marks you may not get a seat in BHU for your BA political science

For example,
In BHU UET examination 2018 , an sc category student required 130 marks to get a seat in BHU for BA arts

For detailed information go through

Thank you

Student Reviews for BHU Varanasi

College Infrastructure: 4.2/5
Academics: 4.2/5
Placements: 3.5/5
Value for Money: 3.7/5
Campus Life: 4.4/5

Hopefully, the experience I shared will be useful.

College Infrastructure

Honestly, I had a good time being a part of this college. Since I used to live in the campus Girls' Hostel, it became even more memorable. Hostel was quite inexpensive and very spacious. Usually, there were a lot of College Festivals that took place in IIT BHU and trust me it was one of the best experiences. Late-night walks, the beautiful environment and the calmness of the campus often felt like heaven. Ghats of Varanasi were cherry on the top.

Very good . Nice experience

College Infrastructure

The college has a very good infrastructure but hostel facilities are not excellent but can be considered fine 1. Classroom facilities are good and improving and digitalised 2. Very good library facilities both in central library and in institute library 3. Wifi is available but issues occur in the wifi 4. Hostel food not so hygienic but comparatively fine

felt good reviewing about BHU

College Infrastructure

The BHU campus is exquisite, its a mix of tradition and modernity, spreading across 1300 acres. The campus has Sayaji Rao Gaekwad central library, where students can find enormous numberof books and digital resources as it is equipped with cyber section as well. For those interested in sports, it has an indoor gymansium, swimming pool and large playgrounds. It has many seminar halls, auditoriums and a amphitheatre for all sorts of events. It has students health centre and hospitals to help students 24 x 7. there are cafterias and atms for the convenience and the campus also give the wifi facility.
