Hey Sonam
Getting a seat in BHU highly depends on how many students will take their seats. total of three to four times the total number of seats are called for counselling, some of who may opt out. With your rank you will surely b e called for counselling and after that it totally depends on how many seats are available. You have good enough chances, according to me, to get a seat.

Hello,
As per your query you're comparing two different courses B.Arch and B.Tech, both are excellent career options but it totally depends on your field of interest.
Studying from IIT is definitely a strong point and the placement structures of IIT BHU in B.Arch is also really good, now coming to NITs, these are also top tier and pursuing B.Tech from NIT attaches a great value to your degree and the placement structure is also really good.
Making a choice between these two is completely on you, If you're really interested in the technical field and always have desired to become an engineer you should definitely go for B.tech from NIT and if you're interested to pursue B.Arch then you should go for it and take admission in IIT. So you have to make a choice in the field of your interest and choose your career option based on that.
Hope this helps.

Hello Aspirant,
If we talk about bhu hostel so ,talking about the previous two years cutoff for social science ….it was 192 in 2016 whereas it raise upto 215 in 2017.
This year the last person who get hostle under social science department was scored 221 in 2019
so when comparing the previous cases index above 240 will be safe enough to ensure your seat in hostel.
Feel free to ask any questions.
All the best for your future
Dear aspirant,
Hope you are doing well. As per your query you are comparing two different courses that is B.Tech and B.Arch. Definitely IIT is the best choice when it comes to studying be it be for B.Tech or B.Arch. Also IIT BHU is one of the very renowned colleges amongst all the IITs. The placement status of IIT BHU for B.Arch is outstanding. The highest package offered was 1.5 Crores whereas the lowest was 15 LPA. On the other hand NIT is also one of the top tier institutes for B.Tech. First you need to make a choice between your field of interest. Only depending on that aspect you will be able to choose the best. Hope you find this helpful. Thank you.
Hello Aspirant, hope you are doing good.
So, the college you are asking for is IIT, which is the best college in the country, so definitely the packages are the best of the lot. Almost everyone got placed as of the last year, with highest package being 1.53 crore per annum. On the other hand, the average package is almost 24 lakhs per annum.
You can find details about the college here:
Hope this helps you. Good Luck!
Hello student.
Hope you are doing well.
As per your marks and previous year cut-offs, it is very difficult to get seat in BA in BHU.
Though you can try for it, and it will be clear through this year cut-off.
Otherwise you can try in some other suitable college.
Hope this will help. Have a great day!
Good luck!

Hello,
After seeing the cut off from last year trends, it is expected that upto rank 150 admission is confirmed.
Coming to marks for a candidate with general category the minimum marks required would be around 250 to 270, so I think the probability of getting admission is less.
Hope this helps.
Honestly, I had a good time being a part of this college. Since I used to live in the campus Girls' Hostel, it became even more memorable. Hostel was quite inexpensive and very spacious. Usually, there were a lot of College Festivals that took place in IIT BHU and trust me it was one of the best experiences. Late-night walks, the beautiful environment and the calmness of the campus often felt like heaven. Ghats of Varanasi were cherry on the top.
The college has a very good infrastructure but hostel facilities are not excellent but can be considered fine 1. Classroom facilities are good and improving and digitalised 2. Very good library facilities both in central library and in institute library 3. Wifi is available but issues occur in the wifi 4. Hostel food not so hygienic but comparatively fine
The BHU campus is exquisite, its a mix of tradition and modernity, spreading across 1300 acres. The campus has Sayaji Rao Gaekwad central library, where students can find enormous numberof books and digital resources as it is equipped with cyber section as well. For those interested in sports, it has an indoor gymansium, swimming pool and large playgrounds. It has many seminar halls, auditoriums and a amphitheatre for all sorts of events. It has students health centre and hospitals to help students 24 x 7. there are cafterias and atms for the convenience and the campus also give the wifi facility.
