Banaras Hindu University offers a three-year, full-time LLB (Hons) programme through the Faculty of Law. Candidates seeking admission to the LLB (Hons) programme offered at the Banaras Hindu University shall be eligible for appearing in the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET), if they have passed the BA/ BSc/ BCom/ Shastri examination securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate considering all the subjects in the three years except those subjects where only pass marks were required and which do not contribute to the total in the final Degree marksheet OR any other qualification.

Candidates who want to get admission to the BA programme offered at the Banaras Hindu University must fill out the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) form released by the National Testing Agency. Candidates must make sure that they select the option of Banaras Hindu University while filling up the CUET UG application form. As only then, the NTA will forward the score obtained by candidates in the CUET UG to the concerned university. As you have not marked BHU during the CUET UG form filling, you will not be able to get admission to the BA programme offered at the BHU despite the fact that you have cleared the Language and General test.
