Hey Chirag. Last year's cutoff marks for BHU ba arts was 200 and the cutoff rank was 1821. The officials have announced that the seats are going to increase this year keeping in mind the EWS category . So, you have a good chance to secure a seat this year. I think I can tell you "Welcome to bhu". And about foreign language, it is not so popular only a few students take it. So, you have a good chance in this also . All the best for your future.
If you discuss about future career prospectives then Jadavpur University is better than BHU, Out of Chemical Engineering and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, ECE is better if you have affection towards electronic devices. BHU gives you good opportunities for higher studies but Jadavpur University provides you better placement. So Jadavpur University is a better choice.
Good luck!!

Hello aspirant,
Talking with the context of rank upto 200 rank holders are usually called for counselling. But, to conform your admission in main campus get rank under 150. Being under 150 gives a chance of 80% of getting admission and rest 20% is depends upon your document verification and merit of intermediate marks.
In the context of marks 250+ for general. Again I would like to say score in the range of 270–300 to be assure.

Hello Vartika,
Hope you are doing well.
The BHU UET Results and cutoff 2021 are yet to be released. However, the cutoff depends on the number of factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, previous year cut off trends, number of students applying and seats availability. By knowing about the previous year cut off marks, the candidates can predict the expected BHU UET cut off and predict their chances of getting admission accordingly.
Here is the cutoff of BA Hons. course for the year 2020:
General 2607
OBC 1952
SC 371
ST 251
Employee rank 1023
Since the cutoff rank for last year SC category was 371, following the trend it would be more or less around this mark itself.
Hope this helps you. All the best!
Honestly, I had a good time being a part of this college. Since I used to live in the campus Girls' Hostel, it became even more memorable. Hostel was quite inexpensive and very spacious. Usually, there were a lot of College Festivals that took place in IIT BHU and trust me it was one of the best experiences. Late-night walks, the beautiful environment and the calmness of the campus often felt like heaven. Ghats of Varanasi were cherry on the top.
The college has a very good infrastructure but hostel facilities are not excellent but can be considered fine 1. Classroom facilities are good and improving and digitalised 2. Very good library facilities both in central library and in institute library 3. Wifi is available but issues occur in the wifi 4. Hostel food not so hygienic but comparatively fine
The BHU campus is exquisite, its a mix of tradition and modernity, spreading across 1300 acres. The campus has Sayaji Rao Gaekwad central library, where students can find enormous numberof books and digital resources as it is equipped with cyber section as well. For those interested in sports, it has an indoor gymansium, swimming pool and large playgrounds. It has many seminar halls, auditoriums and a amphitheatre for all sorts of events. It has students health centre and hospitals to help students 24 x 7. there are cafterias and atms for the convenience and the campus also give the wifi facility.
