The infrastructure of the college is very decent and the campus is spread across 300 acers and we also have access to the cyber library in our college it is super and Commerce facutlly also has its own hostel around 500 meters away from college building.
Honestly speaking as I heard the reputation of the college was excellent but when I joined in I got to know once you get admitted here you have to complete your study by yourself only and classes here runs very occasionaly.
We have a placement cell in our college but it is for post graduates not for undergraduates So you can get an average placement from here about 10-15k monthly on your own. But some companies pick extraordinary candidates from undergrad courses also.
The fees is almost nothing the fees for one year is around 3000 and which also we get refunded in form of scholarships.
The best thing about this college is its decent campus life once you get into it you would fall in love with chai samosa at VT.
Overall its an good college according to the fees structure and its value is very decent .
Infrastructure is good but it's very old...The buildings are the same which was there at the time of establishment. There has been no renovation.. Some new buildings are also there.. Hostels are also in poor infra conditions
The academic patterns are very good.. I am pursuing economic hons from this college... The course has been designed very beautifully to help the students achieve their goals... The professor are also good nd they have proper teaching skill
There is not at all any placement in the BHU in BA arts and social sciences.. A few courses like ems offers some placement but it offers very less salary. Placement are good in post graduate courses..
BHU gives very good academic at low price
Very good
For the most part BHU has all the necessary infrastructure but the only problem is it's not enough to support the amount of students in the campus. Classrooms are in a good shape for the most part are almost all of them are equipped with smart boards. The labs and WiFi are fully functioning and so does all the departmental libraries along with Central and Cyber library. There aren't many seats in hostels, only 30% students from each batch get hostel accomodation. The food is nutritious and clean
I'm currently studying BA Hons Economics. My subjects include Economics, Geography, History, Ancillary and language. The quality of teaching is average. The classes do run on time and the syllabus is completed on time but the professors are not easily available for doubt clearing and other educational needs. The curriculum is updated but some improvements need to be made regarding how it's organised into semesters. It prepares students to get research jobs for the most part.
For BA Hons Economics there's no placement to talk about except for some research opportunities that some students might get. Around 10% of the students get placed every year from a batch of 50 students. The highest pakage offered last year was 3 LPA for my course and the highest pakage overall was for the MBA course which was 18 LPA. The average salary offered to the previous batch was 22000 Rupees CTC. The placement is handled by the placement cell and they have made great progress.
The cost of BA Hons Economics for a year which comprises of 2 semesters is 2700 Rupees.
Yes my college has the necessary requirements for a student. All the facilities are used well and maintained. The food lacks taste often but it's not that bad it's a well equipped college with the facilities mentioned above.
The college is outstanding in the matter of academics. The professors here are skilled and well learned. Currently pursuing B.A. hons in English and the quality of teaching is excellent. Our curriculum is totally updated and knowledgeable.
Placements are quite good though it depends on the scores of the students. Usually 40% of students gets places though the percentage varies each time. Salaries vary from 20Lpa to 80 Lpa as it depends on the performance of the students.
Yes BHU is infact known for its world class infrastructure that is the result of great architecture. In our department we have smart classes, soundproof buildings and what not. Its simply a great place to be. The greenery of the campus is well known and also foreign students are also there in our class.
Yes the professors are really talented and they also provide all sort of help needed to the students. They will infact provide you with lots of industry exposure as well. They simply think about you more than you think.
This is really a matter of consideration because this tourism industry, no doubt it has enough jobs but it needs really talented people so if I can explain you it means you will get opportunities to prove yourself in front of the interviewer but the department would not be able to help you in your selection process. It totally depends on your calliber.
I would say since this course is special course offered by the university so it is totally funded by the students that makes it a little costlier. Otherwise if I consider the quality of the course its upto the point.
Its the best one can get i would simply say that because nowhere else you will get such a big campus and such beautiful people. Other than that the ghats and all makes it more beautiful which will be part of you once you reach there.
I would say its marvelous to be here its such a wonderful experience to be part of such a respected university and you will also be treated like as if you have achieved something really good so far. So for that experience i would say its totally worth it.
There are digital as well as normal classrooms, full time wifi, library is short as well as long term, hostel is there and laboratories are well equipped.the buildings are quite old but firm and plantation is wide variety.
i am doing B.Sc.zoology hons.Theory classes are okay but lab works are really good.they ensure to cover everything in syllabus.curriculum is updated and all the syllabus is thoroughly covered.great academic performance.
I am pursing undergraduate course so I am not able to tell about placements till now but as I have heard from seniors the placements are great in and outside india. Many persons who studied here come to visit and they are really good placed.
My course costs 6000+ for one year for college and if you option hostel per semester you have to pay some money with monthly mess fees.I think its all worth it according to the facilities provided for us.
Best feature of college campus according to me is its plantation. There is a lot of free space with calmness which enable good study.Worst thing is coolers are not allowed in hostels and its too hard in summers .As far as support is concerned there are both supportive as well as non-supportive people, you can figure out on your own.
Truely grateful for being here.
The college have large campus . It have departments and hostel in same campus so it's easy for students to commute. The classrooms are big and spacious and are well lit and have proper ventilation. One class can minimum have 80-100 students in them and have 2 big lecture theater . The whole college campus have wifi along with hostels and a library is also there with big reading room. The hostels are separate for each year students and are clean and hygienic. The food provided is good and hygienic
I'm doing my Bsc bio . The teaching is average, there are some good professors too in some subjects but due to large syllabus they just come and read slides. 75% Addentance is mandatory. The curriculum is updated but not very much . All professors mostly focus on completion of syllabus. There is no internship offered and you have make efforts yourself for learning something new.
In BSc bio there are no placements offered. Not even internships are offered. We will be notified about some summer internship programs but you have to do most of the work yourself without any proper guidance.
One benefit is that the fees is low . The fees differ from semester to semester. In even semester we have to pay more and in odd semesters we have to pay less fees . Like for 2nd semester my fees was 5000 rs and for 3rd sem my fees was 2000 rs . The teaching is good according to fees.
Campus life is good . We've a big garden in front of department and because hostel is near a big playground is also there . The canteen is also there in campus along with two other shops which will provide you your daily basic supplies. Also Dj nights, hostel nights and many programs takes place time to time so it's fun and we can enjoy fully.
The University have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment like wifi and all labs, smart classroom and everything and the University is filled with greenary since bhu is one of the prestigious in India institution
I am the student of Hindi Hons here and it is quite good the faculty is very understanding and ofcourse very well educated and talented Although the curriculum is not up to date. And ofcourse there are some pros and cons every time
Since I am the student of BA Hindi Hons there is no specific placement but I heard from my friends that the placement cell of BA LLB and MBA are quite good and there is a placement cell in bhu where they trained students
The fees is very minimal ours is like 2600 approximately And for so much facilities and academics this is very minimal like very much this is definitely worth the money the hostel fees is also not that much.
Since I am girl student there is a new program called student well being initiative where so many opportunities are there and for your enjoyment there are so many clubs like rhetorical ( debate society) mousiquee music club and so on.
Here life is so happening you going to face your best and worst day So be prepared for both and once you settled that is all going to worth it
Yes, my college is having all the necessary equipment, facilities are top class & infrastructure is very good. We have wifi connectivity in our whole campus & many grouds for sports. We have cyber & central library. Everything is well maintained. Top class food is served here & hygiene is well maintained.
I am studying Hospital Administration & Management, and teachers are best here. This is a vocational course with 10+2 Science (PCB) as eligibility. This is actually a job-ready course. We study here how to manage hospital.
Top companies visit here. 80% students get placed. 4-5 LPA students get easily. Yes my college is very supportive. There are many companies incubated in AIC-BHU which also gets the students placed & Hackathons are conducted for taking the B-Plan for startups.
60k per annum. Yes, because I get practical exposure.
Best campus among all the universities in India. Student can engage in lots of societies which are cultural as well as educational. Anyone can join even IIT BHU's clubs too. The location is 1360 acres & a tourist spot too with many guards inside it. It is having hospital & health centre too.
No, my university is one of the leading colleges of India.
