The main entrance exam is the ICAR AIEEA (PG) for Masters and the ICAR AICE for Ph.D. These All India exams are usually conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in July.
Central Institute of Fisheries Education Mumbai has an aggregate intake of 154 seats for the M.F.Sc. programmes and 82 seats for the various PhD specialisations.
