M.Sc Botany - Batch of 2025-01-01
Academics
The Msc. in Botany offers excellent opportunitites for research in areas such as plant sciences, biotechnology, ecology, and environmental studies. My research superviser was supportive, and the department encouraged seminars, publications and academic discussions.
College Infra
Gauhati University has a beautiful and spacious campus with well-equipped labs, a central library, research facilities, hostels, and greenery that creates a peaceful atmosphere for reasearch. However, some research equipment and labs facilitites could be upgraded to meet the latest standards.
Campus Life
campus life was peaceful and intellectually stimulating.
Placements
As a Msc program, there were no traditional campus placements. Most scholars prepared for careers in academia, research institutes, government organizations, or the biotechnology sector sector. I felt the university could provide stronger industry collaborations.
Value For Money
I found the program the program to be excellent value for money. The university offers quality research facilities, experienced faculty, and an affordable fee structure. For anyone intrested in pursuing masters degree, it is a must go.

Sorry to say but Guwahati University does not offer any undergraduate course in Psychology. Most of its course offered are mainly Masters course and in Bachelor's it offers BA LLB course.You can visit its website for more information.
