The campus is lush green and the infrastructure of the college is fairly good. A new building has just been completed and classes would be shifted there soon. The teaching faculty is highly qualified and the best in the region. Many college canteens are available over the area. Hostel facilities are also good. The course is very affordable. Overall academic and non-academic activities are great.

The infrastructure is good but could be a little better.. The faculty is good cooperative... The GU is a nice place to pursue studies.I will definitely recommend Gauhati University to students who are looking for good colleges in affordable rates. It provides a good platform to start one's career.

Infrastructure is good. Auditorium, recreational halls are very well equipped. The industry exposure is growing with time. Friends, classes, faculties' way of teaching is very enjoyable. Placement is good and is growing better. The college fees are affordable. Some professors have a unique way of teaching. They make the subject very much easy to understand. I am from an engineering background, studying in MBA, but the techniques used by the faculties are very frank and to the point which makes the topics easy to grab. I don't reside in the hostel, but after visiting the premise, it was very soothing and the environment is gullible. The students, mess, wardens are very reciprocative and frank which makes the hostel life to be a treat for the eye. Our cost accounting professor is very grounded and any kind of questions, doubts if asked are well answered by him every time.

The college should have a good computer lab. The college should have a placement officer. The students should groom themselves more. College should try to bring more and more companies to the campus for placement. College hostels should be cleaner and the food should be better, the college professors should be more interactive.

Lets start with the infrastructure,the old building was a vintage building aptly suited for the climate but the new building for the department fulfills every need and aspirations of the students. Huge LCD tvs instead of projector is innovative with 3 acs in a single room to combat the hot and humid weather for a classroom of 60 students. Excellent gd conference rooms to prepare the future managers. Library may require an update,also presence of natural beauty and trees all around the campus adds to the serenity for deep thinking. Faculty is really good and they have great guest lecturers. Faculty are very much interested in any new business innovative ideas of the student and quite friendly and helpful. They respond to every academic need of the students and any business leads taken by the students is appreciated. Great importance is given on the students own mental take on business cases and events which helps in the growth to become a manager. Good industrial exposure. Hostels need a lot of improvement especially the food but the free wifi solves everything. But plenty of food stalls near by. Huge fields to play and a gym fulfills the physical fitness needs. Fee is quite low compared to other business colleges both private and government which is a big plus for the university. It is one of the best value output B schools where with low input, the average placement is relatively very good compared to the input in fees. Placements are good though every student is not placed but with banks and PSUs recruiting,you never know. Placements have a bright future acting as a magnet for the north eastern industries.
