48 Months- Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering is four years (8 Semester) full-time undergraduate engineering program offered at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Vadodara.
- The programme is designed to make a strong foundation in CSE that includes electronics and hardware. Computer science courses are introduced in the early semesters while non-IT courses in the later stages. IT workshops are specially designed courses allowing the students to have mastery in the use of the latest software technologies. The courses in mathematics, sciences, engineering and humanities enable students to explore the wider applications of technology.
Eligibility Criteria
Must have passed class XII (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and secured at least 75% aggregate marks. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.
Admission Details
Admissions to the four years B.Tech. Program of the Institute is made through the examination conducted by CBSE under the name and style of JEE (Main). Official Notification of this examination is given wide publicity through national dailies during September-December every year. The examination is scheduled usually in May the following year and held at several centres spread over the entire length and breadth of the country. Based upon the merit in the written examination, Central Counseling Board of JEE (Main) invites candidates for counselling at selected centres and seats for various participating institutions are allotted, based upon individual merit.

The infrastructure is okay for a CSE student, but it is not the main reason I would choose IIIT Vadodara. Basic academic facilities and computer labs are available, although the overall campus experience could be better.

IIIT Vadodara International Campus Diu is part of a modern 25-acre Education Hub with dedicated academic buildings, labs, library spaces, and 24/7 Wi-Fi connectivity. Classrooms and hostels are new and well maintained, offering a clean, functional environment for tech learning.
I was always hoping for a good campus life.

College Infrastructure
As of now, IIIT Vadodara does not have it's own permanent campus, even though the institute was established in the year 2013. Currently, the classes are being conducted in a single block provided within Government Engineering College (GEC) campus in Gandhinagar. While basic academic facilities are in place, space is limited and the infrastructure is not purpose-built for IIITV. Students are still uncertain about when the permanent campus will be ready, and it's unclear if there will be any major developments in the next couple of years. Overall, the temporary arrangement serves the basic needs but lacks the dedicated resources and environment expected from a fully established institute.
