Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering is four years (8 Semester) full-time undergraduate engineering program offered at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Vadodara.
The programme is designed to make a strong foundation in CSE that includes electronics and hardware. Computer science courses are introduced in the early semesters while non-IT courses in the later stages. IT workshops are specially designed courses allowing the students to have mastery in the use of the latest software technologies. The courses in mathematics, sciences, engineering and humanities enable students to explore the wider applications of technology.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects or any other examination.

Admission Details

Admissions to the four years B.Tech. Program of the Institute is made through the examination conducted by CBSE under the name and style of JEE (Main). Official Notification of this examination is given wide publicity through national dailies during September-December every year. The examination is scheduled usually in May the following year and held at several centres spread over the entire length and breadth of the country. Based upon the merit in the written examination, Central Counseling Board of JEE (Main) invites candidates for counselling at selected centres and seats for various participating institutions are allotted, based upon individual merit.

College Infrastructure

As of now, IIIT Vadodara does not have it's own permanent campus, even though the institute was established in the year 2013. Currently, the classes are being conducted in a single block provided within Government Engineering College (GEC) campus in Gandhinagar. While basic academic facilities are in place, space is limited and the infrastructure is not purpose-built for IIITV. Students are still uncertain about when the permanent campus will be ready, and it's unclear if there will be any major developments in the next couple of years. Overall, the temporary arrangement serves the basic needs but lacks the dedicated resources and environment expected from a fully established institute.

College Infrastructure

Well, you may know IIIT Vadodara is established in 2013 and doesn't have its own campus till now. Then where are classes going? Our classes are going at GEC Gandhinagar (Government Engineer college). Where are our hostels? Our current hostel is in sabar institute of technology which is around 30 km from Gandhinagar. For permanent campus we have to wait for 5 to 6 years.

College Infrastructure

IIITV does not have its own campus you will not find all infrastructure and facility here and classes are for first year held in sabar institute of technology where you will not find so much facility. Food is hygienic and food quality is good.
