College Infra
IIIT Vadodara International Campus Diu is part of a modern 25-acre Education Hub with dedicated academic buildings, labs, library spaces, and 24/7 Wi-Fi connectivity. Classrooms and hostels are new and well maintained, offering a clean, functional environment for tech learning.
Placements
Placements at IIITV-ICD are growing with support from the main IIIT Vadodara placement cell. Recruiters include tech & consulting firms, offering roles and internships. Average packages are competitive for a national importance institute, with opportunities expanding each year

B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026-01-01
Academics
The faculty of IIITV consists entirely of PhD holders, and all are at level of assistant professors. While this reflects a strong academic background, only a few have truly effective teaching skills. Academically, the curriculum is well structured and up to date, especially in core technical subjects. However personal growth and skill development only depend on individual initiative, as there is limited structured support or guidance in these areas. Students who are self driven can make the most out of academic offerings.
College Infra
As of now, IIIT Vadodara does not have it's own permanent campus, even though the institute was established in the year 2013. Currently, the classes are being conducted in a single block provided within Government Engineering College (GEC) campus in Gandhinagar. While basic academic facilities are in place, space is limited and the infrastructure is not purpose-built for IIITV. Students are still uncertain about when the permanent campus will be ready, and it's unclear if there will be any major developments in the next couple of years. Overall, the temporary arrangement serves the basic needs but lacks the dedicated resources and environment expected from a fully established institute.
Campus Life
As mentioned many times earlier, campus life is very limited due to the lack of permanent campus. As a result the students miss out on the experience of a fully developed college environment with dedicated hostels, recreational areas, or vibrant student spaces. We are in hope that we'll get a good and beautiful campus in next couple of years.
Placements
Until 2023, IIITV saw exceptional placement growth over the few years, over several students securing high paying offers and opportunities. However from then on the placements saw a dip and results were up to the expectations set by previous years. While the institute has a decent track record, recent fluctuations highlight some uncertainty. Students are advised to build their own profiles and seek internships or off campus opportunities to stay competitive.
Value For Money
Despite the institute not having a permanent campus and operating with limited resources and facilities, the tuition fees at IIITV are quite high. This creates the gap between what students are paying and the infrastructure or amenities they receive in return. While the academic curriculum and degree value hold merit, the overall experience may not feel justified for many given the current state of resources and support.

Academics
Teaching quality is good because professors are experienced. Our curriculum is updated and include all the recent developments in the field. We have good coding culture. Everyone try to compete with each. We have Coding club and all other clubs.
College Infra
Well, you may know IIIT Vadodara is established in 2013 and doesn't have its own campus till now. Then where are classes going? Our classes are going at GEC Gandhinagar (Government Engineer college). Where are our hostels? Our current hostel is in sabar institute of technology which is around 30 km from Gandhinagar. For permanent campus we have to wait for 5 to 6 years.
Placements
Placements are outstanding. Last year highest package from our institute was about 15 lakh/yrs and average package was 6 lakh/yrs. Placements in this year 2019-2020 are way more surprising, because the highest package offered is 36 lakh/yrs and average package is 11.9 lakh/yrs with 100% placement statistics.
